Facilities Technician

What this job involves: Grow your career in Facilities and Engineering at JLL! The Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and light maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC and plumbing equipment and systems across the facility. This opportunity is located in Kingston, NY Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am - 4pm What your day-to-day will look like: Assist the on-site JLL Facilities team in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipmentPerform general maintenance including carpentry, light HVAC, plumbing and/or paintingComplete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintains appropriate service documentationMaintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditionsWork closely under the direction of Facility Manager and Chief EngineerParticipate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programsSupport on-call or emergency response (rotation)Other projects and tasks to be assigned On-site Presence Required Required qualifications: 1-2 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or carpentryTrade school, union training, military service or college is desirableAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfort using ladders up to 30 feet tallAbility to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or driveStrong customer service skillsAbility to respond to site within 60 minutes for on-call rotationRequires ability to walk extensively throughout facilities and property sites
