Facilities Technician

About the role

The Data Center Operations Team at Fluidstack operates at the scale of a nation, managing sites that can draw more power than some countries, aiming for 100 GW of compute capacity. They face challenges such as operating at unprecedented speeds and scales, maintaining high reliability, and ensuring continuous operation even during construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across the site.
• Support facility operators during switching, maintenance windows, and vendor work.
• Close every work order with parts, time, and findings recorded to keep the maintenance system accurate.
• Maintain the building fabric to ensure the site remains inspection-ready at all times.

Requirements

• You have hands-on experience maintaining commercial or industrial MEP systems.
• You have worked from work orders and closed them with real documentation.
• You follow safety procedures around live equipment without supervision.
• You are reliable on shift work, including nights and weekends.
• A bonus would be having an HVAC or electrical license, and critical environment experience.
• You are familiar with CMMS tools.

Benefits

Compensation range: $118K - $159K.
