Expertise in HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, preventative maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance and repair is required.
Here’s What You Will Be Doing
- Manage day-to-day facility operations and maintenance across multiple sites within an expansive geographic area.
- Efficiently handle a substantial volume of service requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with facilities management and operations teams to assess facility requirements and project planning.
- Supervise facility maintenance contracts and oversee preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Administer the facility work order system, ensuring timely assignment and completion of all work orders.
- Serve on a rotating on-call schedule for facility issues once a month.
- Serve as the primary contact for vendors and contractors, managing vendor relationships and ensuring contract compliance and service delivery.
- Accurately input and track data in the work order system to monitor service requests and assign tasks to the appropriate providers.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, ice machines, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems to identify and implement solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated.
Education & Experience You Will Need
- Proven experience in HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training preferred.
