Facilities Technician

The Role

The Facilities Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the comfort and functionality of the Lodge and Club at Spruce Peak. This position involves responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents, guests, and management, ensuring timely resolution of all issues.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, guests, and management
• Solve a variety of building maintenance issues through troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Proficiency in using basic maintenance tools and equipment
• Vocational or technical training in maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Pay and Benefits

The starting pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00 per hour, based on experience. Additional perks include paid time off, health benefits, ski passes, golf memberships, and employee discounts.
