Facilities Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service on CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, multi-axis machines, and associated support systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues specific to CNC equipment.
• Clean and maintain machine components, including removing and reinstalling parts as needed for service and repair.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures, worn parts, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs for all CNC equipment.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify machine performance issues and implement solutions.
• Clock in with the Maintenance Manager to schedule downtime for service without disrupting operations.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with ISO, OSHA, and GMP standards.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three (3) or more years of CNC maintenance experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, OSHA, DOT, and other safety regulations and rules is necessary.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• The ability to read and interpret technical documents such as electrical and mechanical schematics, part manuals, and troubleshooting guides is required.
• The ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed is crucial.
• The ability to plan maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment systems is important.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software is preferred.
