Facilities Technician 2
What You'll Do
- Equipment Maintenance – Perform planned and unplanned repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment.
- Identify and correct safety hazards and potential maintenance issues before they become critical.
- Support and perform planned and unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment.
- Help with conveyor, automation and sortation system repairs.
- Electrical – Have a fundamental understanding of AC and DC systems and how to use a voltage meter. Follow lock out/tag out policy.
- System Installation, Design, Construction and Repair – Assist team leaders and contractors to perform installations of new or replacement equipment.
- Building Maintenance – Perform and facilitate general facility repairs such as electrical, lighting, HVAC, & conveyor systems.
- Record Keeping – Input and maintain records using CMMS systems to ensure accuracy of time, parts, and repair data. Read technical manuals and document changes.
What You'll Bring
- A high school graduate or equivalent; Industrial mechanic trade school courses or certification (i.e., electrical, controls, plumbing, welding) or equivalent military technical training.
- One year or more experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
- One year or more experience with conveyor, automation and sortation system repair.
- Read and comprehend technical manuals.
- Familiarity with blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Prioritize working knowledge of voltage meter and AC/DC.
Where You'll Work
This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Ontario Fulfilment Center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
Qualifications

About the Role
The purpose of a Maintenance Technician position is to perform basic tasks and repairs within the fulfillment center including work on conveyors, PIT equipment, and general building maintenance. This requires a basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Also, we ask that you have familiarity with AC/DC systems and the ability to use a voltmeter.
Schedule
You will report to the Facilities Area Manager and work onsite in our Ontario, CA fulfillment center.
