Maintenance Tasks
- Ensure all mechanical/electrical equipment supporting the facility is maintained and functioning properly and make necessary repairs and/or perform maintenance where appropriate or consult for outside vendor support.
- Responsible for agency Fleet maintenance, vehicle care and reporting of any operational issues regarding them to the Facilities Operations Manager.
- Keep agency vehicles registration, insurance cards, and safety inspections up to date and stocked with appropriate vehicle safety equipment.
- Performs carpentry maintenance tasks including routine sheetrock/drywall installation and/or repair, window replacement, cabinet and countertop replacement, painting and texturing, and door and hardware installation, paints interior and exterior finishes, as appropriate.
- Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on all facilities and tooling machines, including support equipment.
- Work in conjunction with the management team to ensure a consistent level of maintenance in all facilities according to organizational regulations.
- Check primary buildings daily as assigned, and inspect facilities for carpet stains, marks on walls that need touch-up, damaged or stained ceiling tiles, bent or broken window blinds, etc.
Documentation and Reporting
- Complete Work Orders via the electronic system in a timely manner noting completion and other comments when necessary.
Financial Management
- Provide Facilities Operations Manager with all invoices/receipts for maintenance related charges (vehicle repairs, gas, cleaning supplies, etc.) in a timely manner.
Inventory Management
- Develop and maintain a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools.
