Facilities Tech I

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Tech I to join our facilities team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the living environment for our residents by performing repairs and maintenance duties in all buildings, including preventive maintenance and repairs to mechanical systems. You will also maintain grounds, performing seasonal responsibilities as directed. A diverse skill set in carpentry, groundskeeping, mechanical work, painting, and leadership is highly valued.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM—3:30 PM, with some on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance duties in all buildings, including preventive maintenance and repairs to mechanical systems.
• Maintain grounds, performing seasonal responsibilities as directed.

Requirements

• General working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and general carpentry skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending instructions, short correspondence, memos, and instruction manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
• Strong communication skills with individuals of all ages, particularly seniors.
• A valid NH driver's license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three years of related experience are required.
• Graduate of a technical school with a minimum of two years of related experience is preferred.
