About the role
This role involves providing technical support and maintenance for facility equipment and systems. The technician will assist in resolving issues and ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to facility equipment.
- Maintain and upgrade facility equipment and systems as needed.
- Document and report on system performance and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operation of facility systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IT support or similar field.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using common IT tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with network administration and management.
- Knowledge of server and storage technologies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
