About the role
The Scion Group is hiring immediately for a Facilities Supervisor position. We are looking for candidates who are eligible to work in the United States and can work independently without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Manage all building services and preventative maintenance programs.
- Supervise day-to-day operations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building maintenance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot building automation systems and building maintenance systems.
- Monitor and provide diagnostics for major building systems.
- Prioritize and schedule maintenance work, ensuring quality and documentation.
- Manage Facilities Technicians to ensure service requests are completed within standards.
- Manage facilities budgets and review completed work for accuracy.
- Inspect vacant units post-repair and maintain records.
- Oversee maintenance spare parts and tools inventory.
- Coordinate vendor deliveries and oversee contracted work.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and enforce health & safety policies.
- Manage keying and coding of locks, maintain lock procedures, and protocols for security.
- Implement standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance programs.
- Hire, train, and develop Facilities team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED, trade school diploma, or military training.
- 5 years of relevant experience managing building systems in multi-unit residential properties.
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
- 2 years’ experience with building automation systems and life safety systems.
- EPA 608 Universal certification.
- HVAC/EPA 608 Universal certification.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO), or intent to obtain within six months.
- Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CMMS.
- Valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities.
