About the role

The Scion Group is hiring immediately for a Facilities Supervisor position. We are looking for candidates who are eligible to work in the United States and can work independently without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all building services and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building maintenance.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot building automation systems and building maintenance systems.
  • Monitor and provide diagnostics for major building systems.
  • Prioritize and schedule maintenance work, ensuring quality and documentation.
  • Manage Facilities Technicians to ensure service requests are completed within standards.
  • Manage facilities budgets and review completed work for accuracy.
  • Inspect vacant units post-repair and maintain records.
  • Oversee maintenance spare parts and tools inventory.
  • Coordinate vendor deliveries and oversee contracted work.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed and enforce health & safety policies.
  • Manage keying and coding of locks, maintain lock procedures, and protocols for security.
  • Implement standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Hire, train, and develop Facilities team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED, trade school diploma, or military training.
  • 5 years of relevant experience managing building systems in multi-unit residential properties.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • 2 years’ experience with building automation systems and life safety systems.
  • EPA 608 Universal certification.
  • HVAC/EPA 608 Universal certification.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO), or intent to obtain within six months.
  • Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CMMS.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities.
