Job Summary
PsiQuantum’s Facility Specialist will support facility-related tasks at Palo Alto sites. Key responsibilities include monitoring facility equipment, responding to issues, logistics support, maintaining safety equipment, and ensuring office and lab space cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor facility equipment supporting the site.
- Respond to any equipment-related issues.
- Logistics support for operations, including clean room supplies and gowns.
- Place cleanroom supplies/gowns at designated areas, maintain inventory, and coordinate pickup/delivery of gowns.
- Maintain inventory of gas cylinders and solvents used in the lab.
- Monitor and replace gas cylinders in the lab and maintain inventory.
- Check and maintain various safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, fire panels, and fire alarm systems.
- Respond to any facility-related issues such as plumbing or lighting.
- Maintain office and lab space cleanliness and upkeep.
- Issue employee access cards, handle new or replacement requests.
- Maintain roof area and equipment.
- Respond to any facility issues at Palo Alto Square office space.
- Monitor and maintain office space at Palo Alto Square and ensure upkeep.
- Multi-task and set priorities.
Qualifications
- Some knowledge of HVAC equipment like A/C units, PCW chillers, air compressors, and basic electrical.
- Experienced in using various tools and voltmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledgeable with basic computer skills such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to interact and communicate with other employees and vendors.
- Experience in logistics, including maintaining supplies.
