FACILITIES SPECIALIST

About the role

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining various projects in relation to the repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities in and around the various Greater Nevada locations and assists with the daily operations of the purchasing and mailroom.

Responsibilities

• 1 year of maintenance experience
• Knowledge and fundamentals of mechanical, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and plumbing
• Certified OSHA 10 preferred
• Scissor lift, boom lift and forklift certification preferred
• Work independently to organize and prioritize tasks, manage time to meet deadlines, analyze requests, understand issues and develop appropriate solutions
• Possess ability to effectively identify, analyze and solve problems
• Possess knowledge and maintain up-to-date information related to procedures and reporting guidelines

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Knowledge and fundamentals of mechanical, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and plumbing
• Certified OSHA 10 preferred
• Scissor lift, boom lift and forklift certification preferred

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time.
• You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
• You may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Location and Travel Requirements

The Facilities Specialist position can be located in Reno or Carson City. Greater Nevada Credit Union's Reno Operations Center location is at 9790 Gateway Drive Reno, NV 89521 United States and the Eagle Station Location is at 451 Eagle Station Lane Carson City, NV 89701 United States.

Compensation & Benefits

• $20.19 - 28.13 per hour
• Compensation is dependent on experience
