Facilities Services Coordinator - Offsite Clinics - Environmental Services

About the role

The Facilities Services Coordinator is responsible for overseeing facilities services operations and coordinating activities to maintain an environment conducive to institutional excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of approximately 20–30 EVS technicians
• Oversee delivery of EVS services within assigned areas of responsibility
• Conduct interviews and make hiring recommendations for team members
• Perform Nurse Manager rounding to ensure service quality and collaboration
• Participate in Environment of Care and Compliance team rounding activities
• Ensure staff adherence to established policies and procedures
• Respond promptly to concerns, service requests, and complaints
• Facilitate and lead formal monthly staff meetings
• Conduct investigations and administer disciplinary actions when necessary
• Complete performance appraisals
• Provide coaching and performance management for underperforming staff

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
• Three years supervisory and facilities management experience
• Possession of appropriate driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
