Job Summary
Aid store operations team in and administer facility maintenance projects through coordination of the help desk ticket and purchase order system.
Typical Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage help desk ticket requests for existing stores.
- Follow up to ensure requests are resolved timely and effectively.
- Manage purchase orders for new and existing stores.
- General knowledge of equipment with the ability and familiarity to read construction documents to develop plan take offs for equipment needs.
- Follow up on purchase orders to ensure equipment is ordered and delivered timely.
- Audit incoming help desk/purchase order and maintenance invoices for accuracy and relevant help desk ticket/purchase order reference number.
- Review and monitor other maintenance and repair expenses for accuracy.
Requirements
- Educational Requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience Requirement: Demonstrated proficiency with numerical data and calculations. Providing excellent prioritizing skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines. Applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail in order to effectively monitor progress and complete assignments, performing all duties with efficiency and accuracy. Utilizing excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills to establish and maintain a good rapport with co-workers, Supervisors, store personnel and vendors. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Preferred Experience: Work experience, education and/or certification related to purchase order and invoice processing in a facilities maintenance position. Ability To Utilize excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be a team player and be willing to follow directives. Be self-directed and demonstrate excellent time management skills. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality with sensitive information. Demonstrate initiative and self-direction to perform a variety of simultaneous skills (multi-tasking).
- Machines And Equipment Operated: Office machines (e.g., copy machine, computer terminal, telephone, fax, etc) and other devices.
