Facilities Senior Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Facilities Project Engineer and Subject Matter Expert to lead and manage infrastructure projects within high-reliability environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and infrastructure systems, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
• Develop and communicate operational plans, monitor project progress, resolve issues, and manage resources for projects typically valued between $0.5M and $30M.
• Manage utility infrastructure reliability, capacity, and safety, including evaluating new technologies and overseeing outage activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers from project conception through execution, including budgeting, bidding, and supervision.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations, and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Apply technical expertise in infrastructure systems, conduct analysis, and recommend improvements to enhance maintenance and operational procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial utility systems, project management, and regulatory standards (NFPA, NEC, OSHA, EPA).
• Proficiency in technical communication, AutoCAD/Revit, and asset management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, interpret technical drawings, and work collaboratively.
