Required Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil or mechanical engineering, construction technology, business management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in facilities management, project management, building systems, or a related field.
- 2 years of supervision or team lead experience.
- Alternative combinations of related experience or education may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge of concepts and theories of building systems design, inspection, diagnosis, and repair
- Knowledge of system calibration, testing, operation, and maintenance
- Knowledge of project management: planning, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Ability to read and design and diagnostic schematics, operations manuals, and technical specifications.
- Ability to plan and coordinate work with utilities, contractors, and other state agencies.
