Facilities Restoration Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Project Technician to join our Facilities team in Boone, NC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Perform specialized facility restoration and preservation services, including commercial glass, hard-floor, exterior surface, and specialty restoration
• Operate aerial lifts, floor machines, pressure washers, extractors, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine care of restoration equipment
• Complete projects such as high dusting, post-construction cleaning, lighting restoration, snow and ice removal, and emergency facility response
• Travel between Samaritan's Purse campuses is needed to complete specialty projects and support ministry operations

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED and at least three (3) months related window cleaning experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• A valid driver's license is required for this position
• Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred
• Must obtain and maintain forklift and scissor lift certification
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate various pieces of cleaning equipment and diagnose and resolve problems with that equipment
• Able to stand up to 8 hours a day
• Able to reach for extended periods and maintain a good sense of balance
