Essential Job Functions
- Project Leadership
- Schedules and manages project team meetings
- Tracks progress against established goals
- Manages consultants and contractors
- Manages PDC process development initiatives
- Manages multiple capital improvement projects
- Develops project scopes, schedules, budgets, milestones, and implementation plans
- Coordinates and facilitates project meetings
- Maintains project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensures projects are completed in accordance with college standards, applicable regulations, and established quality expectations
- Public Procurement & Contract Administration
- Leads consultant selection processes
- Manages consultant and contractor contracts
- Prepares Board Action materials, project approvals, and supporting documentation
- Affords assistance with State of Ohio funding, Controlling Board submissions, and other required public approval processes
- Relationship Management
- Supports development efforts with other College Operations teams
- Engages with Faculty, Staff, and Administration
- Affords assistance to clients to understand project alternatives and provide counsel to determine the appropriate solution
- Coordinates project activities with the Police, Information Technology, Procurement, Facilities Management, the Business Office, and other College departments
- Serves as a liaison between project teams and campus stakeholders
- Fiscal & Administrative
- Develops and maintains current and accurate budget control documents
- Analyzes and controls initiative expenses
- Invoices and processes payment
- Collects cost data from vendors and project sources
- Supports Controlling Board submission, project setup, project requisitions, funding source identification, contract administration, and retention management in partnership with the Business Office
- Develops and maintains project budgets and financial tracking documents
- Maintains accurate budget controls
- Monitors project expenditures
- Processes invoices and project-related payments
- Retains historical project cost information
- Supports project setup, funding identification, contract administration, requisitions, and financial documentation

Minimum Education And Experience Required
- Associate’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience managing public-sector capital projects utilizing formal public procurement processes
