Facilities Preventative Maintenance Technician

About the role

Facilities Preventive Maintenance Technician (Engineer II – experienced level) is a Full-Time Regular position.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in Guestrooms, Meeting rooms, and Public spaces.
• Tasks include: flip/inspect mattresses, box springs and assemble bed frames, vacuum behind and underneath furniture, spot clean carpets and upholstery, dusting, touch-up painting, touch-up furniture and woodwork, ensure that all necessary hardware and appliances are present in the room and in working order, replace light fixtures, and inspect and repair grout and caulking.
• Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms and public spaces in accordance with the Resort's preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines.
• Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, securing bathroom accessories, changing light bulbs, patching holes in walls, etc.
• Perform general cleaning of all surfaces to include tub, wall tile, hard floors, walls, windows, mirrors, countertops, cabinetry, furniture, etc.
• Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to manager/supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum Knowledge & Skills: 1 year of experience in any field- REQUIRED. Ability to operate computer and related equipment (pads, tablets, PCs, etc.) – REQUIRED.
• Minimum Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma and a minimum of one-year job-related experience.
• Licenses, Registrations, and/or Certifications Required: Valid Driver's License Required To Drive Company Licensed Vehicles.
