About the Role
Performs day-to-day activities to ensure appearance and the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition for work, and services are met according to standard for all Origin Bank locations. Operates ticketing software for work orders and PMs, coordinates event setups, and performs other miscellaneous operations.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine maintenance to buildings and grounds and ensures facilities are maintained in a manner that reflects well on the organization’s brand and reputation.
- Conducts regular walkthroughs and inspects location facilities to ensure appearance meets company expectations by demonstrating a commitment to customer service.
- Coordinates with management and other members of the organization when facility work may affect others and schedules work at times that will not disrupt business operations.
- Maintains a good relationship with vendors and notifies management when work is being performed in the building.
- Installs proper signage and banners in a timely manner.
- Sets up for special events, including tents, grills, tables, and chairs, etc.
- Maintains event equipment to reflect and meet the standards of Origin Bank.
- Assists other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
- Maintains appearance and condition of assigned bank vehicle(s), including routine maintenance such as washing, oil change, tire rotation, etc.
- Maintains appearance and condition of company trailers and equipment.
- Notifies manager of any issues, projects, repairs, or fixes that need approval or budgeting.
- Submits reimbursement for bank-related expenses timely and approves invoices in Concur for payment processing.
- Requires moderate travel and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Regular attendance is essential.
- Assists Operational Risk & the Emergency Response Management Team as directed during disaster recovery situations.
- Works with Operational Risk to document procedures and coordinate operational and facility-related assignments within the ResilienceONE software solution.
- Processes and performs ticketed maintenance requests as well as tracking equipment and invoices in the work order system.
- Acts as a backup to the mailroom: receives incoming USPS mail and interoffice mail and distributes to the appropriate department; processes outgoing mail using Pitney Bowes equipment; prepares nightly FedEx shipments; runs interoffice mail to local banking centers; delivers outgoing mail to the local U.S. Post Office.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to three years’ experience with general building and property maintenance.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Operates in a professional banking environment and routinely uses standard office equipment and digital tools such as secure financial systems, computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
- Requires maintaining a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail in all interactions.
- Work is performed at all physical locations and within the community, requiring physical exertion, including exposure to extreme weather conditions.
- Involves lifting and carrying 50 lbs or more, climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- May require extended periods of standing, sitting, or operating equipment.
- Requires travel.
