Facilities Operations Assistant 1

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of floors, tables, and microwaves using mops, brushes, and other cleaning implements
• Maintain cleanliness of automotive bay areas using mops, brooms, and other cleaning implements
• Empty trash, recyclables, and waste according to the cleaning schedule
• Assist Technicians with heavy lifting
• Clean snow and ice from Thruway vehicles
• Shovel walkways to remove snow and ice during winter months
• Perform interior cleaning of all Thruway vehicles
• Retrieve parts as needed

Pay

The salary range for this position includes:

• Base Pay: $17.16 hiring rate up to $24.80 job rate
• Recruitment & Retention Pay: $3.37
