Salary range: $42-$45 per hour

Responsibilities
Operate high pressure steam fire tube boilers, steam turbine, and auxiliary equipment with minimum supervision.
Possess a Third Class Engineers license or higher issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Safety.
Experience operating high-pressure boilers, steam turbines, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, auxiliary machinery, and building management systems is required.
Requirements
Shifts: 12-hour shift from 7PM to 7AM with every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday off during power plant operation (Late September-Early June)
Four 10-hour days, weekends off, and “on-call” status and overtime as required when power plant shuts down for maintenance
On-call status and overtime as required during emergencies and/or extreme weather conditions
Qualifications
Third Class Engineers license or higher issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Safety
Experience operating high-pressure boilers, steam turbines, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, auxiliary machinery, and building management systems

Pay and Schedule
Salary is commensurate with experience. Shifts vary based on power plant operation status.

The position is considered essential and employees must report to work and/or remain on duty during their regularly scheduled work hours or the work hours designated by their supervisor in case of emergencies and/or extreme weather conditions.
