About the role
The Housing Department Facilities Office Assistant helps on-campus residents maintain the highest quality of life in their living space by expediting maintenance and building services work requests to get them resolved as quickly as possible.
Responsibilities
- Develop an extensive knowledge of maintenance related tasks and delegate these tasks to the right staff member in an appropriate, timely manner.
- Have a solid understanding of the housing campus layout and property numbers.
- Aid with administrative duties and create training material for Residential Program Services facilities staff.
- Escort contractors and outside vendors to specific work areas.
- Aid the work control manager and work control assistant with key control for contractors and vendors needing access to our buildings.
- Create work orders in AIM.
- Clean, wash, and maintain UGA vehicles and LSV’s.
- Other duties as needed.

Office skills include: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Database management. General office skills.
