Facilities Manager

About the role

The Lincoln Tech's soon-to-open Rowlett, TX, campus is seeking a Facilities Manager with hands-on technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of facilities or building management experience, familiarity with fire safety, OSHA standards, and emergency preparedness, and comfort operating forklifts and scissor lifts.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operation and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
• Safety inspections and full compliance with state, local, fire, and building codes, including OSHA standards
• Vendor and contractor relationships — sourcing, negotiating, and managing service agreements
• Campus procurement and budget management in partnership with the Campus President
• Emergency preparedness and security protocols
• Oversight of any wiring, electrical, plumbing, and equipment installation or repair

Requirements

• Hands-on technical knowledge of building systems — HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical
• 3 years of facilities or building management experience
• Associate's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with fire safety, OSHA standards, and emergency preparedness
• Comfort operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and similar equipment safely
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and facilities or campus safety software

Qualifications

• Background in criminal justice, fire service, or safety and prevention is a plus
