About the role
The Facilities Manager serves as a subject matter expert, overseeing all aspects of physical store locations, mechanical systems, and operational assets. This role focuses on smarter spend decisions to minimize total cost of ownership and extend the lifecycle of assets while supporting sustainability initiatives through carbon reduction measures. Responsibilities
- Oversee repair and maintenance expenditure through regularly scheduled site visits and CMMS.
- Supervise the maintenance of up to 150 ALDI locations within your geographical area of responsibility.
- Collaborate with operations personnel and leadership to make decisions impacting facilities.
- Drive safety, construction, repair, and maintenance expertise to ensure compliance.
- Develop rapport, trust, and open communication with construction personnel to enhance performance.
- Facilitate group involvement in meetings and manage conflict effectively.
- Recommend, interpret, and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
- Build, employ labor, and construct facilities within budget and timeline constraints.
- Manage outside resources to meet desired goals within budget and timeline.
- Maintain OSHA and ADA compliance awareness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Facilities, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Facilities or Construction Management.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Environmental Health and Safety Certification preferred.

Pay
Starting salary: $103,500 with structured increases:
- Year 2: $108,750
- Year 3: $116,500
Schedule
This is a full-time, fully remote position requiring regular travel to assigned store locations within the Eastern Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York City areas. Candidates must reside within the designated zone but have flexibility within those boundaries.
