Facilities Maintenance Worker

About the role

We are looking for a team-player with 1-3 years of experience in maintenance activities, particularly residential and commercial Painting. Soft Carpentry Skills And Experience With Workorder Systems are preferred. This position works in a variety of different settings and will require OSHA training and travel throughout the district.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties of structural assets
• Aid tradespersons performing mechanical and non-mechanical trade-related work within the district preserves

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire
• 1-3 years of related experience in maintenance duties, particularly commercial and residential painting
• Valid Driver's License in good standing; Class C Driver's License required within (6) months in good standing
• Must pass a medical evaluation and fit test, per OSHA regulations, to ensure a respirator can be safely worn when required
• OSHA 10-hour 1926 training and confined spaces training within (6) months of employment

Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay

\$27.56 to \$30.46 per hour, depending on experience
