JOB TITLE: Facilities Maintenance Technician I DEPARTMENT: Facilities Job Summary The Facilities Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks for approximately 35 bank offices and properties. This position performs work to include light carpentry, minor electrical, heating and air conditioning maintenance, minor plumbing repair, and occasional fill-in duties for the daily courier service. The Facilities Maintenance Technician I reports to the Facilities Manager and provides excellent service and support to team members and customers while demonstrating the Company’s values and supporting the mission. Job Duties And Responsibilities Assist with inspections, maintenance and repair of all building electrical facilities and systems, heating, ventilation, cooling systems, and plumbing systems. Perform maintenance and repair tasks as appropriate.Investigate and troubleshoot problems with facilities systemsTroubleshoot routine maintenance problems, such as structural problems, basic mechanical or other equipment malfunctions and report to supervisorMaintain adequate stock and serviceability of necessary maintenance supplies and equipmentPrepare and maintain records on all maintenance activities performedPrioritize proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and suppliesConduct routine facilities maintenance activities to include snow removalCoordinate supplies and set up for special eventsMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networksAttend training as requestedAdhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering ProgramParticipate in outside community activities as requiredPerform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications High School diploma or GED1 year of facilities-related experience preferredSolid knowledge of supplies, equipment, and services ordering and inventory controlAble to maintain records for preventive maintenanceSolid ability to read, understand, and follow and enforce safety proceduresAbility to maintain a cooperative work environmentSolid knowledge and understanding of building electrical systems, HVAC systems, plumbing, and water supply systemsBasic carpentry, Sheetrocking, painting and door hardware installation skillsSkills in organizing resources and establishing prioritiesMaintain a professional demeanor at all timesEffective verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsHigh standards for integrity, honesty, professionalism, and work ethicCommitment to service excellenceAbility to work independently while demonstrating excellent organization and follow throughDemonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workloadAbility and willingness to work with purpose and a strong sense of urgencySelf-motivated, positive, and enthusiasticSelf-starter with a strong desire to exceed expectationsMaintain confidentiality discretionAbility to effectively work in collaboration with othersWilling to grow and be challenged
