Facilities Maintenance Technician (Swing Shift & Weekend Shift)

Roles And Responsibilities
- Maintains the manufacturing facilities, grounds, and equipment in good working order.
- Schedules and works with the facilities maintenance team to complete all projects, maintenance requests, and repairs in a timely manner.
- Leads the facilities maintenance team in overseeing daily tasks and ensuring customer service standards are met.
- Installs drywall, laminate, concrete, and other materials.
- Constructs walls, finishes, and trim.
- Installs and repairs plumbing, vacuum lines, air lines.
- Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs mills, compressors, CNC machines, waterjets, ovens, autoclaves, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
- Communicates with leadership to minimize downtime of equipment.
- Maintains facility grounds to an orderly standard, including using landscaping equipment, seasonal salting/sanding, and snow removal.
- Performs hardware installation such as door handles, hinges, locks, etc., and assembles and moves furniture.
- Orders materials and tooling as needed, maintaining a min/max of critical spares.
- Operates equipment such as aerial lifts, forklifts, and backhoes.
- Adheres to JI Safety, HazMat, and JI Policies.
- Works well independently and with others, managing multiple deadlines.
- Maintains reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, isometric drawings, work orders, written procedures, and other technical documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, follow process instructions, and monitor machine controllers.
- Consistent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Construction or facilities maintenance experience.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Positive attitude, works well within a team.

- High level multi-tasking skills.
Wage Information
The wage range for this role is between $20-$46 an hour, plus benefits and eligibility for a discretionary bonus. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access assignments. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
Shift Availability
- Swing Shift - $2.00/hour shift differential - 12:00p - 10:30p Monday-Thursday
- Weekend Shift - $3.00/hour shift differential - Hours: 5:00a - 1:30p, Friday-Monday
