Equity Maintenance Group (EMG) is an Orlando-based property/facilities maintenance company. The company aims to provide environmentally friendly, high-quality property and facilities maintenance at a reasonable price. Candidates should have a proven track record of reliability, honesty, and hard work. EMG is seeking a full-time, experienced Maintenance Technician to service commercial properties throughout Central Florida.

Job Duties

  • Perform general maintenance duties and repairs including painting, pressure washing, repair to structural elements, such as parking lots and sidewalks, drywall and stucco repair and replacement/repair of street signs
  • Replacement/repair of lighting including lamp, fuse, and ballast replacement, changing of light bulbs
  • Equipment repair inside and outside of buildings
  • Perform custodial duties as needed including emptying trash cans, picking up loose trash, and disposing of bulk trash
  • Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and maintain cleanliness of property
  • Schedule and perform preventive maintenance
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner
  • Perform monthly inspections and report findings to a direct supervisor
  • Aid other departments, including leasing, sales, and property management

Qualifications

  • At least two years of prior experience as a Maintenance Technician
  • Always adhere to safety
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be reliable

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to use Environmental Health & Safety approved cleaning chemicals to perform essential job functions daily
  • Must be able to work outside
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able and willing to work independently and with other team members, supervisors, clients, and the clients’ customers
  • Willing to report to a direct supervisor and work in a professional manner
  • Must have a valid Florida State Driver’s License with a good past/present driving history

Pay and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Pay range: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year.
