About the role
Columbia Helicopters is a 65-year-old provider of heavy-lift helicopter services. We design new aircraft, fly helicopters globally, and provide maintenance to keep you ready for critical missions.
Responsibilities
- Painting, HVAC filter changes, door repairs, drywall installation, snow removal
- Routine plumbing repairs like toilet fixes, faucet replacements, leak detection
- Routine electrical repairs like bulb changes, fixture repairs
- Framing, rough and finish carpentry, door and window repairs
- Purchase supplies, assemble furniture, hang decorations, move equipment
- Fire sprinkler system testing and maintenance
- Assist outside trades personnel as needed
- Other duties as assigned, including special projects
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2-5 years of facilities maintenance technician experience
- Knowledge of trade-related maintenance and repair, machinery, equipment, and tools
- Valid driver's license to drive company vehicles
- Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and assembly instructions
- Proficiency in hand and power tools
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including Outlook, Word, Excel
Qualifications
- International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) as a U.S. Person
