Facilities Maintenance Technician I

About the role

Columbia Helicopters is a 65-year-old provider of heavy-lift helicopter services. We design new aircraft, fly helicopters globally, and provide maintenance to keep you ready for critical missions.

Responsibilities

• Painting, HVAC filter changes, door repairs, drywall installation, snow removal
• Routine plumbing repairs like toilet fixes, faucet replacements, leak detection
• Routine electrical repairs like bulb changes, fixture repairs
• Framing, rough and finish carpentry, door and window repairs
• Purchase supplies, assemble furniture, hang decorations, move equipment
• Fire sprinkler system testing and maintenance
• Assist outside trades personnel as needed
• Other duties as assigned, including special projects

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2-5 years of facilities maintenance technician experience
• Knowledge of trade-related maintenance and repair, machinery, equipment, and tools
• Valid driver's license to drive company vehicles
• Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and assembly instructions
• Proficiency in hand and power tools
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including Outlook, Word, Excel

Qualifications

• International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) as a U.S. Person
