Compensation
We offer market competitive compensation.
Potential salary range for this role is $21.00-$24.00/hour.
Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs across the facility, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures, and components as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of all work areas, including outdoor grounds.
- Maintain accuracy of records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Apply general knowledge and technical skills to troubleshoot and maintain facility operations.
- Maintain all building areas including offices, production floors, storage sheds, restrooms, furniture, and grounds.
- Perform general maintenance tasks including cleaning and trash removal.
- Replace filters on ventilation systems and designated machinery.
- Remove materials such as chip barrels and monitor hazardous waste disposal.
- Conduct painting, repairs, and other facility upkeep tasks as needed.
- Transport customer products to and from external vendors for plant services when necessary.
- Set up seating and arrangements for company meetings and events.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years in facilities maintenance related role.
- Some knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical & mechanical systems.
- Ability to read manuals and technical documents.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Capable of standing, bending, carrying, and sitting for extended periods.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Must comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Exposure to cutting fluids, solvents, lubricants, and hazardous chemicals.
- Participation in safety training, safety committee, and hazard analysis.
- Use of ladders, power tools and safety equipment.
