Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Electrical: Ballasts, bulbs, parking lot lights, troubleshooting outlets, and identifying and resetting tripped breakers.
• Plumbing: General plumbing including repairing leaking faucets, replacing washers, faucets, and seals on malfunctioning plumbing equipment, snaking/cleaning clogged drains.
• Painting: Brush and roller applications, plaster, drywall repair, interior and exterior jobs.
• Doors: Metal/wood, closers, hinges, sweeps, etc.
• Furniture: Repair, drawers, adjustment, assembly.
• Additional Duties: Moving items as needed (i.e., furniture, file cabinets, boxes, etc.), delivery of office and building supplies to the correct departments and locations, small appliance and equipment installation, assist Facilities Manager and others on special projects as directed by Manager, timely completion of all assigned facility work order requests, perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or some technical/college education.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in facility maintenance field.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Suites and facility management software.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Teamwork mindset.
• Ability to multi-task.

Pay

USD $24.00 - USD $29.00 /Yr.
