Facilities Maintenance Technician

Your tasks

• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility systems including compressed air, water cooling/chillers, hydraulic systems (plant-level), HVAC, boilers, pumps, and electrical distribution (up to assigned scope).
• Troubleshoot and respond rapidly to facility-related equipment failures that affect production; coordinate support from trades or contractors when required.
• Maintain plant utilities: compressed air, process water, cooling towers, filtration systems, and waste/chemical containment systems to meet production needs and environmental regulations.
• Support plant infrastructure projects: install, modify, and commission piping, conduit, valves, pumps, and small mechanical/electrical systems.
• Maintain facility buildings and grounds: doors, lighting, roofs, drains, floors, bay doors, dock equipment, fencing, and signage.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and document work orders, parts used, and downtime in SAP; recommend spare parts and inventory levels.
• Auxiliary in lean maintenance practices, 5S, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements (lockout/tagout, confined space, hazardous materials handling, spill response).
• Other duties as required.

Your profile

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of Facility Maintenance experience is required.
• Two years of Equipment Maintenance experience is required.
• An advantage is having experience with SAP or PM Systems.
