Facilities Maintenance Technician

Core Responsibilities

• Supports the mission, values, and vision of the company.
• Maintain Ammonia, Waste Water, Soft Water, Steam, & Compressed Air Systems daily to ensure critical operating conditions are met at all times.
• Resolve issues as they arise and report out-of-spec parameters and run conditions to the Facilities Manager when necessary.
• Repair Air, Water, & Steam leaks and fixtures like toilets, sinks, water dispensers throughout the facility.
• Knowledgeable in Plumbing, Electrical, Ammonia Refrigeration, HVAC, Water Treatment, Pumps, & Fluid Dynamics.
• Works within a team environment to share information and help others as needed.
• Perform inspections and checks on evaporative coolers, HVAC systems, and updraft fans.
• Inspect and adjust HVAC unit operations, including condensate drains, fan operations, and UV lights.
• Assist the Maintenance Department in making repairs as needed, which may involve work outside of the normal scope.
• Fulfill work order requests and log labor hours in CMMS software.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Working knowledge in Electrical, HVAC, Ammonia Refrigeration, Heat Transfer, & Steam Generators/Boilers.
• Troubleshooting ability is key.
• Clear communication skills with the team.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for emails.
• Familiarity with computers/touch screens.

Required Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a construction-related environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or industrial maintenance.
• Working knowledge of Plumbing, HVAC Systems, Fluid Dynamics, & Water Treatment.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Hours: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
