Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the Role

This position is responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of building systems and facilities to ensure the building remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Complete light electrical work (fixtures, outlets, switches, bulbs)
• Perform light plumbing repairs (leaks, drains, fixtures)
• Basic carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs
• HVAC support such as filter changes
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly
• Maintain tools and ensure safe work practices
• Coordinate with vendors for larger repairs when necessary

Requirements

• 6 months experience preferred
• Positive attitude and highly motivated self-starter
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Must have a valid clean Utah driving record

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, and climb ladders as needed
