Responsibilities

  • Ensure implementation of Company safety, health, and environmental programs for employees.
  • Follow safe work practices and protect the environment in accordance with Company policy and regulations.
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures, including EH&S, EEO, discipline/corrective action, and security.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Conduct daily facility inspections and enforce safety standards.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and repair materials.
  • Perform basic mechanical and structural repairs (e.g., walls, floors, ceilings, plumbing, and heating).
  • Handle minor carpentry, painting, and repairs.
  • Climb ladders and use man lifts and possibly work in confined spaces.
  • Communicate any issues effectively to the Manager.
  • Operate equipment safely and maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
  • Document preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and completed work orders accurately.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent trade school.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial facility maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
  • Ability to operate material handling and tools required for tasks.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and/or boom lifts (training provided if required).
  • Basic computer skills for documenting work orders and maintenance activities.
  • Valid driver's license preferred (if company vehicles are used).

Physical Requirements

  • Must be in good physical condition.
  • Standing and bending for long periods.
  • Lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Frequent walking throughout a manufacturing facility.
  • Reach overhead, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in confined spaces as needed.
  • Work in varying temperatures, noise levels, and manufacturing environments.
  • Safe climbing ladders and operating elevated work platforms.
  • Wear required PPE at all times.

  • Compensation: Starting pay range between $22.00-$27.00 /hour, with potential for overtime.
