Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance and preventative maintenance of the facilities.
• Perform activities such as painting, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Meet set-ups and complete repair and maintenance tasks with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
• Practice excellent customer service, including timely follow up and resolution.
• Be available for on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Accurately record all work and associated labor time in the work management system.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Assist with exterior and ground support and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' prior experience in a facilities or maintenance role preferred.
• Knowledge of or skills in plumbing and painting.
• Proficient with proper use of hand/power tools and appropriate safety protocols.
• Must be able to work from ladders or personal lifts at various heights.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work effectively within a team structure.
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed, including weekends and evenings.
• Must have a valid US Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and maneuver 100 lbs.
• Must be able to work safely in and outdoors.
