Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all building systems and equipment to ensure the safety and comfort of the facility’s occupants.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.
• Respond to emergency calls to repair broken equipment and address urgent issues.
• Keep records of all maintenance activities and submit reports as required.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of building systems and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.

Pay

$20-$25 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with some weekend work required.
