Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities Maintenance Technician role is located at Maverick Golf and Ranch Club, outside of Fort Worth, TX. Key Responsibilities include:

• Completing maintenance and repair tasks as directed
• Maintaining all operation buildings/structures and temporary office trailers
• Troubleshooting and repairing issues throughout the club and community
• Answering and responding to maintenance calls for assistance
• Identifying safety, hazardous conditions, or maintenance needs
• Maintaining the use and inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment
• Communicating information related to tasks and projects impacting service within other departments
• Coordinating shutdown and start-ups of utilities when necessary
• Following procedures for use of Work Orders and Preventive Maintenance
• Communicating with vendors and suppliers about repair activities
• Communicating accurately and effectively with Department Heads, Co-Workers, Members, and Guests
• Adhering to safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Assisting the Facilities Engineer in maintaining and repairing fire and life safety systems, room equipment, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, kitchen appliances, refrigeration equipment, pool and pool equipment, lighting, laundry equipment, and other systems/equipment as directed
• Managing building check lists to ensure building assets are serviced according to schedule
• Knowing all property emergency, safety/disaster plans and procedures
• Responding promptly to emergencies

Qualifications include:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• A valid Drivers License
• Proficiency in general maintenance and use of hand tools, including painting, sanding, and basic electrical
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems
• Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
• A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible work hours/schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Long hours may be required due to business demands
• Physical demands include working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (60) pounds
