Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the role

DCD Automotive/Nucar is seeking experienced Facilities Management Techs. The ideal candidate must be outgoing, enthusiastic, self-motivated, punctual and personable.

Responsibilities

• Complete all specified maintenance work assigned by Facilities Management personnel
• Review plans, specifications, etc. for new or ongoing construction projects or renovations for the company
• Perform troubleshooting and replacement of malfunctioning equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance work, as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials of up to approximately 50 lbs
• Must maintain a current and valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as established by the Company's insurance provider
• Must read and comprehend instructions and information, both orally and in writing
• Must be able to effectively communicate

Education and experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years specified trade experience
• HVAC, Carpentry or Electrical experience a plus
