About the role
CULTA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team in Cambridge, MD. Our award-winning products are grown on our campus and sold in three outstanding dispensaries across Maryland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVACR, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all tasks are performed efficiently, correctly, and in accordance with SOPs.
- Maintain full compliance and update maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with contractors for necessary tasks.
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVACR and water management systems.
- Monitor system functionality, make repairs, or refer to contractors.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Work long hours standing and climbing.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and climate control/fertigation software.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Higher education preferred.
- 2-4 years of facility maintenance experience.
- Ability to stand for long periods, climb, and lift 50 lbs. regularly.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC, irrigation, and climate control systems.
- Pass background check and drug test.
