Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest level of service and maintenance to assigned facilities to keep utilities and equipment in optimum operating condition.
  • Troubleshoot and perform mechanical repairs of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor and understand problems and concerns relating to a repair.
  • Organize tasks efficiently and maintain attention to detail.
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Operate heavy machinery safely and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Promote a positive customer experience.

Requirements

  • High mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and perform mechanical repairs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Adequate driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Occasional need to work additional hours to meet demands.
  • Able to operate heavy machinery in a safe manner.

Qualifications

  • Minimum four years related experience.
  • Professional electrician’s license and HVAC trade certification (a plus).
  • High school diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently sit for extended periods of time.
  • Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Talk or hear.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
  • Frequent use of specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Starting Compensation Range: $26.46 - $33.26 per hour.
