Facilities Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair critical facility systems, including:Air compressor and ventilation systems
  Industrial paint booths and vacuum pump systems
  Mechanical door systems, fans, and motors
• Perform maintenance and repairs on key equipment, including:Marine Travelift, Hydraulic Trailer, PIP Lift
  Scissor lifts, forklifts, and boom lifts
  Kubota vehicles and golf carts
• Assist in maintaining building security systems, locks, and fences/gates
• Help to ensure hazardous material safety, including propane tank maintenance
• Maintain fire safety systems and assist with evacuation planning
• Repair and maintain doors, windows, and the building exterior
• Aid in plumbing, HVAC systems, and light electrical work (e.g., lighting, outlets)
• Help maintain general landscaping and organize common areas
• Assist in boat stand and block maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale facility systems is a plus.
• Strong background in air compressor, ventilation, and industrial systems maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
• Proficiency with maintaining and repairing heavy equipment such as travel lifts, hydraulic trailers, scissor lifts, forklifts, and Kubota vehicles.
• This is a hands-on position that requires active participation in maintenance tasks.
• The ideal candidate must be comfortable performing repairs, troubleshooting equipment, and conducting routine maintenance directly.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials handling, fire safety systems, and building security protocols.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining high operational standards.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and management.
• A self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
