Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintaining the safety and cleanliness and functionality of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, parking lots and outdoor spaces for multiple sites.
- Performing routine building maintenance including but not limited to, painting, light bulb changes, plumbing, electrical, light tile work, mechanical work.
- Scheduling cleaning and maintenance tasks when necessary and performing similar duties as necessary, including supervising and monitoring the janitorial company.
- Making repairs as needed.
- Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
- Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals.
- Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities and completing maintenance orders in a timely manner.
- Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
- Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions, such as sidewalk snow removal and salting of walks and parking lots, maintaining a safe environment.
- Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities and completing maintenance orders in a timely manner.
- Ensuring proper inventory of supplies and reordering as needed.
- Executing executive car assistance, taking vehicles in for maintenance, taking them to car washes, getting detailing done, and moving car locations.
- Running errands and other duties as assigned by management within the ticket system.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software necessary to create and maintain reports and logs. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage contractor performance. Organized and pays attention to details. Self-motivated and follows thru to completion.
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings. Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions. Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and driving record. Must have a valid driver’s license.
