About the role
Play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and functionality of AutoZone retail stores.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections across a designated area.
- Troubleshoot and fix minor issues related to electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment maintenance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, manage work orders, and assist in vendor identification.
- Frequently travel overnight and ensure a safe working environment using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Deliver exceptional customer service and adhere to AutoZone's dress code.
- Assist in identifying vendors, perform diagnostics on the Energy Management System, and maintain vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- 1-2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent education
- Skills in electrical, plumbing, and general construction
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet AutoZone’s driving requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
Qualifications
- Additional maintenance experience and/or education
- HVAC certifications
