Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Plumbing - Change a faucet, vanity, and toilet; repair toilets, faucets, or Sloan valves; cap a plumbing line using a sharkbite or sweat a cap; pressure test lines; find and repair leaks; clear and clean drains.
  • Electrical - Swap out fixtures, light switches, or outlets; change ballasts if taught; change light bulbs with appropriate replacements.
  • HVAC - Change furnace filters; flow them correctly; change thermostats, install new fuses, and troubleshoot basic issues; bleed radiators.
  • Painting and Drywall - Patch holes in drywall or plaster; paint rooms in a workman-like manner.
  • Carpentry - Install handrails; install entry, interior, or screen doors in a workman-like manner; change or install door knobs and deadbolts in both residential and commercial settings; fix windows or replace pieces of glass; run a clean bead of caulk.
  • General - Represent Property Prep, LLC in a positive manner at all times; pass a drug test; have a clean driving record; wear a clean uniform to work; behave appropriately while on the job.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in maintenance work.
  • Own hand tools and a smart phone capable of being used for work purposes.
  • Provide own transportation; Property Prep, LLC will provide a new work van and major tools to all employees.

Qualifications

Ability to pass a drug test.

Clean driving record.

Clean uniform to work.

Behave in a professional manner while on the job.
