Facilities (Maintenance) Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician contributes to AHF by projecting and integrating our mission and values through preventative maintenance of both leased and owned properties, as well as maintaining property and performing renovations as needed. This role enhances AHF's reputation by utilizing prior experience and supervisory skills to ensure all maintenance and renovation work is completed successfully and in a timely manner.

You will be a passionate advocate for AHF's top initiatives, ensuring that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind in all tasks. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, team management, and the ability to detect malfunctions and conduct repairs at AHF locations while complying with industry standards and safety conditions.

AHF operates in a dynamic environment with a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Maintenance Technician will work as part of a close-knit team, reporting to the Healthy Housing Foundations Regional Property Operations Manager and collaborating with other managers at AHF sites on the functionality of machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on leased and owned properties.
