Facilities Maintenance Technician - (2nd shift: 2-2-3 schedule)

Schedule

You will work 10-hour shifts during our 2nd shift, from 2:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., on a rotating 3-on, 3-off, 2-on, 2-off cycle. This specialized schedule provides predictable time off and extended breaks, allowing you to recharge while maintaining a steady career path.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Perform general building maintenance, including plumbing repairs, painting, light bulb replacement, and fixture cleaning.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Driver's license required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Pay

The minimum salary for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position is $25.00 per hour and the maximum salary is $29.86 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on skills, qualifications, and experience.
