About the Role
Performs skilled maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures. May oversee and review the work of lower-level technicians.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine and preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment, including HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, pertaining to minor building maintenance and remodeling.
- Listens, follows, and executes duties given by supervisor.
- Documents and finalizes maintenance requests as needed.
- Moves various equipment and furniture.
- Safely operates, manages, and maintains facilities, tools, and equipment.
- Works with a team in the construction, alteration, repair, and maintenance of equipment, furnishings, and various other structures and fixtures.
- Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained.
Requirements
- Proficiency in written and mathematical skills as reflected in the completion of high school or equivalent.
- Three years of job-relevant experience.
- General HVAC and maintenance skills, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other physical functions in accordance with standard operating procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies.
- General knowledge and understanding of building heating, air conditioning, and ventilating equipment, along with related utilities and controls.
- Ability to work in the construction, erection, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures.
- Ability to use and operate a computer.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Pay
Pay Grade Minimum: $17.19/hour
Pay Grade Maximum: $22.78/hour
Pay Basis: Hourly
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
