About the role
This position oversees various infrastructure components including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and other facility components. The supervisor ensures these systems operate efficiently, conducts regular inspections, and coordinates repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Supervises the installation and administration of alarm systems, including the centralized alarm system. Ensures the systems function properly and provide adequate protection for assets (cash, equipment, facilities, ticket stock, etc.).
- Reviews and provides security recommendations for blueprints and plans during the design phase of new and rehabilitated facilities, ensuring appropriate asset protection.
- Investigates causes of false alarms, identifies issues like employee error or equipment failure, and recommends corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field from an accredited college or university, with 3 years of experience in physical security systems (alarm systems, card access, key control systems).
- One year of closely related experience can substitute for one year of education required.
- Pass a police background check.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite’s Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Proficient knowledge of basic budget and budget planning processes.
- Technical expertise regarding facility maintenance.
- Strong project management skills.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
